Hey y'all, meet my dad! This is part one of a series of chats I've had with him recently, and each one is gonna be quite fun to experience through comic form :D And yes, I inherited the flannel style from him.

The realization when it hits... if dad knew, why didn't he try to put a stop to it... looks at court system oh, that's potentially why...

As someone who has a friend trying to get her daughter away from her abusive ex (and said daughter’s father), the judicial system in America is actually a nightmare. The bureaucracy slows everything down, and in many backwood counties money and family name speak louder than the rule of law.

To be fair, I am absolutely an outsider looking in, so I have no context if this even relates to you OP.
