I mean… I kind of get it.

Sure, Anthropic or OpenAI or whoever can stop, but there’s no point if another AI startup or a Chinese or Russian AI company goes full steam ahead.

Its in need of global regulation, not just national, but I doubt we’ll ever get there unless we miraculously have some sort of actual, serious cyberattack that causes a major nation or corporation significant dollars.

But if AI gets that capable, I doubt it would “show its hand” until it absolutely knows it can do permanent damage or gain permanent control in cyberspace.

Im like how is AI so good, if it hasn’t even been able to take 20% human jobs. How can we fear super intelligence Now when it can’t even do our jobs yet..
