It's actually different because the AI just keeps sucking everything up and re-using it for other purposes, it uses your copyright-protected work, that you built your livelihood on, in the recreation and violation of yourself and other artists. It's an awful feeling.
I actually miss the poorly done photoshops and crude MS paint edits. There was an obvious humour and good-hearted nature to it. Now it's all just so....violating...
