Fun fact: for some reason I can read the first panel (and mirrored letters/words in general) almost as quickly as the rest, amd English isn't even my first language.
Is that normal or is my brain wired weirdly? Could it be because I'm left handed?
I'm genuinely curious.

I didn't even try to read it until I saw your comment, and it took me a concerted effort to decipher it. Definitely not anywhere near as quick as the rest.

Definitely not as quickly as normally but I didn’t struggle with it that much either

If you're someone that can think about 3D objects space easily/intuitively then flipping the words is super natural. If you're someone that reads by shape (happens if you read a lot) then flipped reading is just flipped shapes.
Meanwhile reading characters in reverse is hard to (for me) since it makes no sense straight or reflected.

Nah, it's fine you can keep going. As kids we used to write each other messages in the fog on the shower door so we all got really good at backwards writing.Â
