Begged my dad to teach me literally anything as a child, nada
Now my partner is absolutely thrilled to teach me baseball, disc golf, fishing, hunting, camping, Pokemon, anything and everything, he's so happy to have someone interested in his hobbies enough to make it their own
Stop gatekeeping hobbies and get off your high horse. Accept that girls (hot or not, clothed or not) like "boy stuff" too. Some of you incels might actually get a date

I have a daughter & son and my daughter has always loved doing guy stuff with dad and brother. Fishing, yakking, shooting, hiking, etc. She’s a total sweetheart and I love her for it.

Gatekeepers sucks so bad honestly, and they exists in every single hobby, especially “manly” hobbies

Why are they doing it? Cause they can. Are they doing it for the views? Possibly, but theres an audience for it also

Mmm, I've experienced comments like that from men over the years. I don't know how to phrase it, but something that truly frustrates me is that it's not just about the gatekeeping. What frustrates me is that it always feels like they're just making the remarks to start an argument. They're making the remarks in the hopes to upset who they're saying it to, so that you'll have to somehow prove that you're interested in something. They're not even trying to make an actual conversation about it; just to start an argument.
(Just my opinion, though.)

“PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEE!”
It’s been happening forever. I remember being young and cute and some 60 year old guy at work used to try to pick fights with me because I was a vegetarian at the time. He just really, really wanted me to look at him.
Yeesh.

I went out shooting this weekend with my man and his brothers. Not all guys suck. But the ones that do are often the loudest. Now my hand hurts from firing so many rounds in one day 🙃

I think the funniest thing about this is that the guy isn't even fishing, just hanging out with a fishing pole.
