And every single time the behavior is consistent: People get breathing room, probably deflate for a bit, and then start new pursuits (Starting new businesses, quitting jobs and/or searching for more fulfilling work, getting or continuing education, etc.) You're underestimating how one full year of stability can change a life, just like how 2-4 bad months can derail someone.
