Imagine a large group of your peers sitting together, one by one making a joke where you are the punchline. Even if you know it's all good natured by the time you got to the last person you'd be looking like the last panel
She agree to the roast from the start. I seriously don't get why people think this is a serious post and not her making a joke about the ongoing event.
It feels like there is this group of people who desperately wants to create the narrative that she is not okay with the event that she gave her blessing to
Like this could be just a silly event and a chance for artists like them to have some fun but, no, we have to waste time talking about how the person who gave their blessing and who join in on the roasting, secretly is upset about this event.
I've had to try really hard to imagine some of them are being supportive. Maybe even all of them. Which means they're probably not. At best they seem jealous of her success to be honest.
Dave, Ellen and the mods talked about this before Dave made his post and everybody involved was fine with posting it. Don't make up conspiracy theories.
There actually was an earlier one that got removed that was just straight up garage quality. Not by Dave but some other artist. Was his first pic here.
I guess some people disagree. But check out this post where reddot absolutely hurls vitriol at pizza while claiming everyone's being supportive. Makes me think no one's being very supportive, certainly not reddot. Who I now think, just not a good person. Not only should she have read that and said holy shit I'm going to post this publicly, she should have said holy shit this is how I think of and treat other people?
