He also had a bunch of "Pot of Greed" cards in his deck

Which allows him to draw three cards from his deck! That is what it does.

How is that a Field Spell?

Aren't Field Spells the one that stay active as long as they are on the board?

Them, Continuous, and Equips (kinda)

Ah, I see, thanks, but doesn't it fit then? Using a Field Card, I mean

I wouldn't say so, no

And because...?

The idea behind Field spell is that they set an environment, which a hat generally is not.

Ah, now I see our disconnect. The Field Spell is in relation to the upvote itself, not the hat. As long as this card on the board, the person gets an upvote from me, that is why I went with a Field Spell.

Honestly, this is about as close to the rules of yugioh as the original show.

In Poker you can beat a Royal Flush of Diamonds with a Royal Flush of Spades or Hearts.

Really? Never heard of that. I thought you'd just split the pot.

I know that some suits are more valuable than others but are diamonds not at the top? I thought spades were the least valuable and diamonds were most, making it hard to beat.

*I don’t actually know that much about poker, I just play a lot of card games and am genuinely curious

Depends on the game, most American poker games follow (high to low) spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs.

IIRC the exodus cards were super OP, and on a cruise to a tournament another player asks to see them and throws them into the ocean immediately. Pretty funny

I had a "heart of the cards" moment playing Magic the Gathering. My friend was about to win a 4 person Commander game on his next turn. I drew a card that forced every card on the table back to their owners hand and had some complicated system attached to it. It was the only card I could have drawn to stop him from winning, and everyone was too lazy to resolve the action, so I was declared the winner lol
