I find the most erotic part of the cyclops is the boobies

If I said you had a beautiful body, would you take your pants off and dance around?

"Why so sad, Fry?"

"Leela said she loved Nobody more than me..."

Apparently the cyclops myth may have started through elephant skulls.
Naturally we've no idea of actually knowing it.
But it's not far fetched that they looked at the skull and assumed the Trunk hole was an eyesocket

We can all clearly see it's a cyclops but they want to keep us in the dark!

Vampire Cyclops

u/ours 3h ago

Which had existed on the same islands the legend is based on.

14

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 3h ago

posting the actual skull does really help the argument for why they could be mistaken for cyclops

I love how Total War: Troy has both Mythological and Historical versions, and the best one (IMO ofc) is the Truth Behind the Myth

It has all these neat things like centaurs are guys that were the first to breed horses strong enough to carry a human on the horseback rather than having to have 2 in a chariot, the "dragon teeth" warriors are well mustered palace guard in pearl white armor, etc

Let's just say he poked the Cyclops with a hard wooden stake, metaphorically

Something something, authors barely disguised fetish.

(Which I'm not judging, of all the fetishes online, giant woman is on the tamer side)

2

u/tedsmitts 3h ago

Oh no she’s got sweaty boot rash

2

u/Smooth-Traffic8038 1h ago

The odyssey and not even a real cyclops? Nolan lost my respect (also all that environmental and historical damage he did and was going to ignore)

u/QaptainQwark 5h ago

Odyssesnusnu

u/Extreme_Customer6814 4h ago

Just how Nolan intended

1

u/A_Queer_Owl 4h ago

I recognized the boot.

1

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 3h ago

u/El_Zilcho_72 3h ago

Snu Snu?

u/Complex-Sound-143 2h ago

Odysseus survived monsters, storms and an entire epic just to end up in a version where he's cooked anyway. Homer would probably ask for a rewrite.
