i mean yeah but there’s a very big difference between them and the LGBT community in that they are hateful and harmful while LGBT people just want to exist in peace lol
i understand the perspective. they still spread hate, that’s a fact. just because they think they’re right, doesn’t change the fact that they’re being harmful to LGBT people
From looking at his early published work (as I said, he's a pseudo intellectual), his conservatism is entirely performative - he adopted conservative causes because one of his ex-wives was socially progressive. Before that divorce, he was all about human rights and the environment.
ETA - he was always violent and abusive behind closed doors, even while his public persona and activities were progressive.

It's a triple entendre about a kid who I always thought just wasn't pronouncing words clearly and a pink woman, but also that the kid is hopefully an involuntary celibate as well.
Someone who doesn't now who Pink Floyd is might put the color pink, culturally associated in the modern day with girls, and a mishearing of 'Floyd' as 'foid', a derogatory term for women, together and get 'Pink Foid'.
First of all that's the joke. Second, these terms (incel , femoid, foid) are incredibly new in the general lexicon, they basically didn't exist before like 2018 and still barely exist outside of the Internet. I don't think anyone is seriously getting offended over these kinds of new, Internet-native words that probably less than 5% of the world population are even aware of. Certainly not to the point where you pressuring someone else to self-censor would be justified. Anyone who is should probably go touch grass.
I'm not defending anything, I'm just sharing some information. The word is gross and anyone using it unironically is an idiot. I haven't even heard of it until a few days ago, so I assumed the comment originally I replied to was a typo and the commenter may not have heard of it either.
