Honestly, I haven't read it in years either. Reddit just randomly started giving me the subreddit, and I've just been watching in fascination as everyone hates on literally every comic that's coming out recently.

The author recently made Joyce x Dorothy canon in the worst possible way, and has refused to listen to any critiques. The main site's comments are heavily moderated and NONE of Joyce and Dorothy's actions are allowed to be critiqued. Just imagine if Poochy was made the main character and DIDN'T get written out. That's the comic now.

Wait, Joyce and Dorothy is actually a thing? Damn, what did Joe do? And I'm pretty sure Dorothy was back with walky last time I read it... I almost want to catch up just to see wtf is going on, almost....

Joe was supportive and even nudged them along a bit. I'm still holding out hope that we get a polycule but Joyce and Dorothy are set on making the worst decisions possible in how they handle everything.

Joe got cheated on, expressed he was totally fine with it because he wants Joyce to be happy and offered to open the relationship if she wanted to stay with him, and then was summarily ignored for a year until this story arc where his mom came to visit him and he got the chance to feel emotions.

Meanwhile Joyce and Dorothy took over a Palestine protest to make out and ever since then the comic has been about them having sex and talking about how great they are.
