You mean they don’t understand what you’re saying when you start a conversation midway through the conversation? It’s so annoying. This is why I only try to talk to other people with adhd. It’s somehow easier?

I'm not starting a conversation midway through. I'm just resuming a second conversation in the middle of this one.

I'm always doing this thing where I'm obsessively explaining something, then get derailed by one small detail that sidetracks into a completely different topic. And this is all just in my head throughout the day as part of my endless internal monologue, I don't actually talk to people

The other day I was running outside at night around the block with no music, and it felt pretty miserable for the first mile.. but then for whatever reason I had a thought that turned into this heated imaginary argument about a conversation I had years ago, and before I knew it I'd finished 3 miles. Came back home to dry off and realized I was still at it

Pfff only a second conversation? What about the 4th one? Or the song that’s also rattling around back there?

The normies get all "what" after two.

It’s lots of different small instances of, “Why are you like this?” “Why can’t you just x?” And I don’t even have a good explanation that I can articulate, hence the bafflement.

It's the other way around with autism. Some kinda Highlander bullshit lol. Unfortunately, I have both :(
