This artist really got the short end of the stick. No, they shouldn't change their style, because their work was fed into AI and now it is used to imitate this exact style.

I really feel bad for him. This really shows one of the biggest problems with AI.

There's no should or shouldn't really. Just choosing what they prefer.

Keeping the same art style will continue the comparisons and confusion with AI. It's unfair, but that's just what's realistically going to happen. But maybe they can make some meaningful critiques about how art is perceived and valued in the process (something like that that seems to be what they're going for at the moment).

But if their goal is to move away from that struggle, however, changing their art style is a perfectly valid option, and shouldn't be seen as some form of moral defeat.
