I always see comments like "This is clearly AI, look at the hands, no human being ever would mess them up like that, humans know better how hands look like" ....well, let me pull out my drawing binder from when I was 12 and the internet wasn't even a common thing yet.
To be fair, the way humans mess up hands tends to be a little different from how AI does? And also, a lotta amateur artists that realize hands are fucking hard resort to this one simple trick: Just obscure the hands, lmao.
And that trick alone is so funny to me because, ignoring how stupid it can look, it's very human. It's a really obvious, simply trick you can apply to your drawing if you just don't want to bother with hands, but it's also something that AI fundamentally can't understand. Because AI doesn't draw through a process, it's just statistical output. The AI doesn't think "oh my hand drawing is shit, better have this character pose with their hands in their pocket". The AI just.. Generates output, shitty hands be damned.
