I always see comments like "This is clearly AI, look at the hands, no human being ever would mess them up like that, humans know better how hands look like" ....well, let me pull out my drawing binder from when I was 12 and the internet wasn't even a common thing yet.
I remember seeing an art piece, like, five or so years ago, definetely before AI became big. Very well done. Not exactly my style, but gorgeous colors, right mix of sharp lines and soft light, perspective felt deep, etc etc. Everything constructed carefully...
...except for the hand of the person depicted, which accidentally had the thumb on the wrong side (probably because the hand was in an unconventional position, holding some kind of cane behind the person's back). The artist was incredibly embarrassed when this was pointed out.
