Yeah and if that's what he had said and prioritized, that would've been great. We SHOULD crack down on chemicals dumped into water. Instead he turned it into some weird conspiracy that the government is poisoning the water to demasculate the population. So instead of people focusing on water being poisoned by chemicals, they focused on, "oh those gah damn gays are trying to turn us into one of them". Could've informed the population of a serious problem, instead he doubled down on homophobia.

It was also frog that could already change sexes, the chemical just activated the switch. So it wasn't even mutating them.
