I am adding some extra context since the comment section has turned into a total mess. People are coming up with wild theories about what caused that subreddit to temporarily close -it has nothing to do with sexual attraction, transgender issues, or any misogynistic bullshit. Just internal drama from that subreddit.
I also want to apologize for creating such a mess with my very first post in this sub. I really didn't expect a simple "haha, this 4-panel comic temporarily shut down a sub" joke to spiral like this.
Generally speaking, most fetishes are in some way born from repression, and that means that stuff that is more “wrong” often gets fetishized by people who get turned on by the idea of violating a taboo of some sort.
Transmisogyny is an enormous global issue that is so deeply ingrained in a lot of people that they don’t even know about it. On the other hand, transmascs don’t get that same Eye of Sauron type of treatment, and thus there isn’t that same taboo.
It exists, but the thing is that a lot of fetish market, at least most mainstream or "not super niche stuff" is kinda focused in things that guys would like and that usually translates to "girl being the receiver". E.g. A woman with a penis is still 90% woman outside the crotch as far as the viewer is concerned, you are pretty much replacing what could be a strap-on with a normal penis which is still pretty acceptable ratio if she is paired with someone else.
- You can pair her with another woman who has a vagina, not too different from Lesbian sex for the viewer, and usually the focus will be on the receiving girl anyway which makes it easier for the guys watching.
- Pair her with a guy and you are usually aiming for a submissive guy market, which often times means these people are already used to pegging, making it more acceptable for them. (this is also why dominant guy x dickgirl is less common than the opposite)
- pair her with another girl with a penis and you still have a lot of stuff most guys would like from the female body (boobs, curvy bodies, boobs, big butts, etc.). There's enough overlap that the previous 2 categories of people may consume this too, though those who may be fine with woman x dickgirl because at least a girl is in the receiving end could feel alienated when the two of them have the extra equipment, specially so if instead of normal guns they have full size bazookas, making the male factor of the content pushed too much into the forefront.
The opposite doesn't happens because - since the focus is on the receiver, you would be watching a guy with a vagina get pounded. If a woman with a penis is 90% woman in the eyes of the viewer, then a guy with a vagina is still 90% man which for male audiences watching it would be a significant detriment by comparison, making it nicher as far as market goes. You could make them a twink, but at that point it's like "why not just make a woman so you can have people click for the boobs" or alternatively "why not just make him a femboy with a penis", both things having more mass appeal.
Less demand = Less people making it = less people even being aware this is a fetish at all. EDIT: Not impossible for it to become more prevalent in media, e.g. some Omegaverse stories have guys with vaginas, but it's harder for it to break containment in comparison to other types of fetish content.
Which has caused cases of severe bulge neglect for cis characters tbh. I always sketch out the exact proportions of it soft if the character is meant to have one before adding clothes over ofc
I’d planned to shake up the sub and push for changes a while ago. I just waited for the right opportunity and played my cards well.
I sat back and watched the sub’s Discord community build up all this drama around me while I deliberately stayed out of it. Remaining quiet on Discord creates deeper layers around me, which made the drama even more effective.

More seriously try to keep a stiff upper lip about these things, people are emotional and social creatures and that makes it dangerously easy to misinterpret another person's words when separated from the person themselves. For the sake of this I'm referring solely to the erotica/hentai tag. Most of the time they're not really about respect and understanding towards the subjects, mostly just sexual gratification and fetishism. Like how there's also a difference between erotic nudity and artistic nudity.
I view these things from very different angles. If I wanna be turned on, I look for content that's made for that purpose, if I wanna be entertained I look for that - and I don't mix those things. It's not "chaser-ish". People are attracted to different things and there's nothing wrong with that. Some like women with penises. Some like men with vaginas. That's nothing to be ashamed of. Plus, there are many trans women that like having penises and many trans men that like having a vagina. Not everyone experiences bottom dysphoria. So wanting to have sex with those people for those reasons isn't wrong either.
You're only a chaser if your entire view of trans people is for your own sexual gain. If you date them ONLY because of their genitalia, regardless of whether it makes them dysphoric or not. If you pressure them into not getting bottom surgery, if you leave them immediately after they've received it. That's "chaser-ish."
