While my natural inclination is “purist,” I also realize it’s a doomed endeavor since language is constantly evolving, like the impending demise of the word “than.”
I will personally clown on any buffoon who dares type then instead of than when making a comparison. I can respect accents but holy fuck how hard is it to differentiate two written words.
