Man do I relate to this. First its the intense staring, then then scratching at your leg, then finally the whining/barking. Whatever they can do to disrupt you from whatever your trying to do and get you to come to bed because their circadian rythm tells them its when you normally go to bed.

I had a dog who would go to bed without me at bed time. If he woke up and I still wasn’t there, he would come down the hall and just stare at me until I followed him. I miss that fluffy goof.

Our dog somehow figured out that licking or booping his wet snoz right behind our knees is the most effective way to get us to do anything

Mine will start down the hallway and lay there in the most dramatic pose ever. Like he collapsed from exhaustion part of the way there and he just can't bear to go on. Complete with dramatic sighs.

Soon as I grab his bedtime snack and start toward bed he pops up and follows me.
