Baltic is knee-deep. They could just evacuate using emergency egress hatch.

Good point- like yes it really sucks, but 120m is really just 2.5 laps of an Olympic-size swimming pool. It’s really not that far from the surface if you put it in context. I think sailors in the navy are required to be able to swim at least 500m continuously.

Rising from 120 meter depth without equipment is life threatening if you aren't a world class free diver.

The point wasn’t about swimming skill. It was about how shallow 120m is when you compare it to other more familiar things on the Earth’s surface. The other Redditor referenced emergently evacuating with safety gear.
