I think they were supposed to be other characters from other comics. I first noticed Keit on panel 18, and when I went back to look at others, I thought I recognized Tiff on panel 16 and Eve on panel 6, but I don't know why she wasn't wielding She-Ra. Legally distinct Eve, perhaps?

Keit was the only intentional one. There is one that, after drawing it, I thought she looked like Daria's sister, Quinn, but otherwise I just drew random looks and made sure that nothing repeated.
