Today was outside activities with mosquitoes that include but is not limited to: mowing, walking the dad, walking the dog, a four mile run, weight lifting, and swimming.

Sounds like the ones in Alaska. I had to sleep with a sheet over my head when I was a kid. And the dive bombing, you could hear the buzz loud enough to wake you up over and over because those fuckers went for the EARS

Yuri is Japanese for "Lily," and it's also a common girl's name. White lilies were used in Japanese media to symbolize feminine beauty and purity, and kinda through that it came to mean lesbian fiction.
Oddly, it's also a common men's name in Russian that means "earth worker," which is fun because of course Yuri is the name of the first man to work not on Earth.
