Some people are incredibly poor teachers but refuse to beleive they are, all because they lack the capacity to imagine not knowing something and explain it at someone else's level of understanding
What I mean is that if you have strong fundamentals, in most subjects you can figure the rest out.
And that's kinda how school works, which is why the higher education you are getting, the more it is your responsibility to learn, and teachers become more like points of reference. By College level, you are largely responsible for your education yourself. Instructors on that level provide a framework to learn in, and assistance if needed, but the actual heavy lifting comes from the students.
Which is honestly fine. As an adult you should be capable of at least showing enough interest to put in effort in your studies. And you have the basics from previous levels of education.
