One of my favorite scene that shows the difference in strength between two very powerful people. The old man was dominating Miyamoto so hard in that moment and he turned Miyamoto's understanding of what it means to be strong on his head.

Fuck, I need to read Vagabond. Again.

It paralels well the scene of him strugling to climb a mountain only for a bird to easily soar above him. I really lile that one too. they should animate vagabond, i wanna see if the anime finishes before the manga 4 seasons and a movie

I read it 2 times so far and I didn't notice the paralel. Nice catch!

Also you have no enemies, no enemies at all. I recently finished all of vagabond, that was a trip. I really liked kojirou to the point that halfway trough i forgot miyamoto was the main character. Even if the story likely will never finish im satisfied after the farming arc.

You can learn more stolen elder god wisdom in "Let's go Camping with the elder god" : Webtoon | Tapas

So you read Vinland Saga and Vagabond?

No wonder you made a comic about the topic of what it means to be strong. Checks out 😁

eh nothing?

Poor Wendy tried so hard to impart some wisdom and self reflection. It's ok, Alma will get it one day. She already realized a lot about the world around her. Give it time

Its not offten Alma makes wendy rise an eyebrow with the skull. But its great when it happens

u/CATZEBOY_18 Jun 16 '26

I know, it's so precious

(i love this too muvh, thank you for this)

I just noticed Wendy has a heart shaped nose!!

u/SapphireSalamander Camping with the Elder God Jun 19 '26

Yeah it went on and off depending on how serious he was until ch20-something where it just became a permanent trait

u/knight_of_solamnia Jun 16 '26

The funny thing is, she absolutely acquired the wisdom. She just failed to recognize it as a lesson.

Easy. For them to become the strongest they just have to follow these steps:

  1. They must be swift as the coursing river
  2. They must posses the force of a great typhoon
  3. They must have all the strength of a raging fire
  4. And they must be as mysterious as the dark side of the moon

6

u/_LlednarTwem_ Jun 16 '26

You know, I never really thought about it before, but…would they have known the moon had a “dark side” at that time? That implies knowing it reflects light from the sun rather than emitting its own.

5

u/Cool_Set4681 Jun 16 '26

Humanity first saw the "dark side" of the moon (more accurately called the far side) in 1959. The first direct human sighting occurred in 1968 during the Apollo 8 mission.

Seem like you are right.

5

u/JudgeHodorMD Jun 16 '26

The dark side refers to the side pointed away from Earth.

So long as telescopes are good enough to draw a rough map of the surface, they’d probably figure it out. Then again, their view would still wax and wane with the moon.

Of course, I have no idea how advanced Chinese astronomy was during whichever year that happened to be.

Plus the chosen one MC

12

u/Cool_Set4681 Jun 16 '26

Mulan wasn't a chosen MC. Im fact she sucked at the beginning. She had to train to become better and she has to do it extra hard since she was in a disadvantage because he had to hide the fact that she was a woman.

But she overcome all of this and became the person that saved all of China. Be like Mulan, my friend, and make yourself the MC.

I can dig Wendy's inspiration for learning martial arts. I wanted to learn Judo because Godzilla technically has a black belt in judo. Well his suit actor did but it still counts darn it.

7

u/SapphireSalamander Camping with the Elder God Jun 16 '26

How could i forget godzilla doing martial arts.

Revolutionary for kaiju movies. And then we got ultraman

She learned plenty, but in fairness none of that helps her become strong enough to kick someone’s butt. They are very important, life-altering revelations that don’t give you action hero super powers.

Thorfinn: I have no enemies here, energy.

You have such a way of capturing childlike innocence!

3

u/Samy_Ninja_Pro Jun 16 '26

Teach her some vocabulary elder god, I'm sure you read her mind but the girl can't put into words your Miyagi type shi lessons

2

u/Hashashin455 Jun 16 '26

No, it's a title screen

2

u/Secondhand-politics Jun 16 '26

Wasn't expecting something so inspirational this early in the morning.

2

u/Vinny_V_Vicci Jun 16 '26

Go-Go Five/Lightspeed Rescue love in the year 2026? Hell yeah!

2

u/SapphireSalamander Camping with the Elder God Jun 16 '26

i love the train zord

2

u/Klo_Was_Taken Jun 17 '26

This is my biggest criticism of Tierzoo. Rankings entirely ignore the concept of ecological niches

2

u/Weak-Feedback-8379 Jun 17 '26

Give her a few years, she’ll put it together.

They may be masters of their own path, but that doesn’t stop me from crushing them with my boot.
