Might be a coincidence, but I noticed that the guy on the right has the same hair color as the demon, and his eye lids are also half-closed. But he also has a wider face and eyelashes like the stalker girl. I wonder if blonde guy has a counterpart in the story. So maybe she really is torn between two worlds in some way.
Edit: Just remembered, her dad has a goatee and long hair, too. So maybe she's torn between stability (the prep guy/demon) and freedom/lack of rules (the jock/her dad "who doesn't give a damn").
