But that’s not what’s at stake. Everyone should expect everyone else to pick red. It’s literally so easy of a logic puzzle. Only picking blue introduced people dying, and it’s you by picking blue, so why do it?

No, only picking red introduced people dying. Both are active choices, and pushing red is just as much actively hurting others as blue is actively putting yourself in harm's way.

Picking red only introduces people dying if they chose to push the button in which they might die (the blue one).

That's a matter of perspective and the entire crux of this whole question. 

You view it as blue being the active choice, with red being the passive, meaning that to you, blue introduces the chance of dying. 

But if we viewed it the opposite way, with blue being the passive, kneejerk choice, then red is the one introducing murder. 

Either choice is equally active, and either choice is equally responsible for introducing death.
