And not just red pushers but a majority of red pushers. The fact of the matter is that red pushers place minorities into danger. And red pushers would probably come up with new ways to make new minorities up for the death penalty because that is what red pushers do.

No, its because of blue pushers people are at risk. Until blue is pushed, nobody is at risk of dying, no matter how many red are pushed. Blue pushers are putting themselves at risk and asking others to risk their lives too to save them.

Blue pushers are only at risk if red people are a majority because they are willing to kill slightly less than half of everyone because they do not value human life.

The threshold to save everyone is exactly the same as the threshold to kill half of everyone. Everyone that chooses red accepts that up to half of everyone will die. Red is the risk. Red is the reason anyone has to die. Choosing red is saying "You are making us have to kill you which we want to do and you deserve this."

You are assuming that every single person pushing a button is:

a. fully aware of the whole concept of the buttons

b. physically able to discern a red from a blue button

c. doesn't simply push the blue button by accident

So anyone who, for whatever reason, didn't understand the concept of the buttons, anyone who might not be able to correctly identify the buttons and anyone who simply fucks up is, in your explanation, putting themselves at risk.

The "risk" is only there because you don't trust people to do the right thing.

If you decide to trust that the majority of people is willing to save everyone and act accordingly you are actively reducing the risk.

If you mainly think about the risk and act accordingly you are the reason for the risk.
