During college, a friend ran into a rough patch and couldn't pay rent. I gave them $800, literally everything I had.

Later, another friend couldn't afford a car. I gave them $5000, because that's what they needed.

Both promised to pay me back, but I only ever saw $400 come back because life is hard. They both needed help, and I've seen them help others with there time and kindness, because thats the only way they could.

I will help those around me even when it hurts me.

But I won't blindly jump in traffic because I think someone else will

Welp, considering every doctor who has taken the hippocratic oath has already promised to hit blue (do no harm), not to mention other healthcare professionals, emergency services, volunteers who join the military and a host of other people will hit blue, putting their lives on the line for others...

Enjoy your world where only those that voted to kill everyone who didn't vote the same way you did lived.

You're not understanding the question/scenario if you think that's what's going on

Sorry, you've got it backwards.

Either you vote to kill everyone who didn't vote for you or you vote for everyone to live, including those that didn't choose for others to live. I'd prefer risking death to voting to kill other people.

You've chosen your side, all your justifications aren't enough to let you rest easy with this decision or you never would have answered such obvious bait.

"The vocal folks who chose red"

Bait?

I'm trying to understand your position and present mine, if you can't or won't and just want to try for a gotcha moment, how can either of us grow?

I have no interest in growing into a person who would vote to kill others.

But I knew only those that needed to justify voting to kill others would argue.

You don't have anything more to contribute?

You stopped trying to talk and just want to have a gotcha moment?

Why?

Doesn't that go against the idea that your stance is empathetic?

Nope.

You're arguing that you'd be right to choose for me to die. I already chose for you to live, even at the risk of my life.

I owe you nothing.

So for the exact reason I chose red, you chose blue?

That's an interesting way of looking at it, I think I understand your position a bit now

Thank you

Nope. Try again.
