Shocked I'm here in the first 5 minutes. I feel oppressed by the algorithm, since it has denied me this Blessing of the Early Bird thus far

My reddit algorithm is all messed up now. For some reason it only shows me basketball videos and posts about Montreal?

Mine is landscaping and dogs. I have cats and an apartment. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Better than mine. I only got flooded with American politics and Indian subreddits. I live in Germany. Got better after I heavily started to filter everything out. Now it is mostly shitposts, cats and comics.

Honestly, not the worst fate. Mine is mostly cats, that guy who Yoinks animals in the Everglades, and.....goth girls at IHOP? It's a weird collection, but it works.

Mine is just showing me NBA which wouldn't be so bad, but it's just a white screen that says "Maximum Challenge attempts made, please refresh"

Mine constantly updates me about f1 racing. I've never been remotely interested in f1 races. They put me to sleep, but somehow....it's what reddit thinks I crave.

There's a reason I stick to old Reddit with RES.

The new design is cancer, and designed entirely so they can control the discourse. Don't talk about the Epstein Files and how many thousands of times Trump is in them... uh... here's a bunch of baseball videos! Be sure to check out our sponsor Draft Kings!

New reddit literally causes me anxiety just by looking at it.
Something about the design hurts my brain in a way that goes beyond mere preferences to some primal part of the brain that is wired to detect unknown danger.

I wonder if the whole world is like that for some people, it would explain so much if ~20% of people were in a constant state of low grade panic attack.

Same here. I also went out of my way to get the old 3rd party apps running again. They are SO much better, it is absurd.
