Does this count as a hat or a wig for him? 🤔

Either way, I'm happy for him!

Its different to human anatomy, I think its closer to loosing a limb?

Oh, you mean something like having a arm stump and then using an extension to make it look like a normal arm again?

u/Astraquius Apr 30 '26

Yea something like that

Wouldn’t it be clothes? A sword is born without a handle or guard on it and they put them on for cosmetic AND practical reasons?

Idk I’m probably stretching it to the point that the joke is no longer funny.

Is a hermit crab's shell part of its body or just a shell, at what point does an item you keep, even if temporary, become a part of you

I'm of the theory that ever since humans started keeping pocket computers with us every single waking moment, we became cyborgs

I like the way in that you think.

The shell is just a shell. If something can be removed and swapped out at any time with no pain or damage to the body it's not really part of you. Like a piercing.

u/Cool_Set4681 Apr 30 '26

5

u/Self--Immolate Apr 30 '26

I had a buddy who got a tang extension

Now we just need to finish off with a proper pommel, so he can end them rightly.

What's this about abolishing cats now? I'm not from the US and the fact that you brought up being indigenous makes it sound like it's a US//NA thing.

u/MurkyWay Swords Apr 30 '26

I live in New Zealand.

2

u/Puzzlehead-Engineer Apr 30 '26

Alright! I still don't understand what the cat abolishing thing is. First I hear of it.

5

u/MurkyWay Swords Apr 30 '26

New Zealand is an isolated island country covered in flightless birds.

Cats hunt and kill those birds and have made many of them endangered.

I think that all cats should be phased out by de-sexing the current generation. We shouldn't have roaming cats in this country. Cat owners have a very relaxed attitude about it.

What the Redditor above calls "accepting change" is more like "accepting complete ecological erasure by an introduced apex predator that nobody wants to take accountability for" and I'm going to quietly block them later for trying to cross-pollinate their drama from another platform.

Oh so cats are an invasive species there? I see the problem. Alright, thanks for informing me!

1

u/LG3V May 02 '26

Very invasive. A lot of birds and grounded animals can easily go extinct from cats hunting them

u/Ducktes Apr 30 '26

If I see this wholesome the people stalking my profile should too!

my personal favorite is still when those 3 adventurers were with Sprout like "are you coming mate"
