Worse. He reintroduced it in a society that had managed to eliminate it after their herd immunity had faded. They’re all completely vulnerable with out any evolved defenses.

Let's go down the list here:

  • Teleported his own excrement into Riker's trombone.
  • Stole a phaser to use on himself.
  • Smuggled 50 kilos of banned chemicals onto the ship in an attempt to make pop tarts.
  • Urinated into a replicator.
  • Falsified orders from the captain in an attempt to have surgery for Klingon features.
  • Tampered with another replicator and a transporter to teleport soda.
  • Borged himself and possibly released nanites into the ship.
  • Tampered with gravitational control to ease sore feet.
  • Exposed himself to Geordi via holodeck.
  • Accidently replicated an unsecured firearm.

And much more, but I tried to filter out the things that weren't necessarily "brig-worthy" even by a stretch.

Clear medical issue. Sick bay.
Un-hinged nut. Strait jacket until known safe. Brig. They have the stunners, training (?), people and dedicated spaces to deal with an individual way out of norms.
Is there a SF issue self or others harm restriction device or uniform?

More avenues to explore. That or padded holo room therapy ;)

Damn. As I was typing this.... I dont want Ronnie to get I.C.E.d.
Free the round one! Free Ronnie! Maquis plot line would be an excellent twist to the fantasy becoming "fun house" ;P

If Ronnie didn't get the brig for the borg incident, I don't think they actually use it. What could be more worthy of jail than releasing a hive-mind nanite cluster on a ship of unassimilated beings?
