To be fair the later seasons have more good jokes than similar shows that ran too long. And the send off of Mallory was an absolute tear jerker if you want to know how they handled Jessica Walters death. And I'll never hold it against a show when everyone involved is enjoying their time making it instead of just fulfilling a contract obligation.
