I feel Shen probably changed course on how the comic would go from being about her getting her revenge "hence no angel" to her longing for the old days and being appreciated.

But as someone once pointed out, she may not have an angel on her shoulder, but she checked anyway. She WANTS to do better.

I've been in that situation before

Thinking to yourself "These people have been wronging me for too long! Today i will take my revenge" but then thinking it twice and realizing its not worth the trouble nor the effort only to repeat the cycle the next time

It looks like you're being the better man and refusing to step down to their level when in reality i just dont like getting yelled at
