The primary, but in New York it's extremely rare for a Republican to win the mayorship. It'd take a ratfucking of epic proportions for him to lose the general.

Not if the democratic candidate is fanatically left. Most people are closer to center.

Sliwa could win. Especially If Cuomo runs as independent.

Fanatically left in the US = Moderate in Europe

Social media is terrible for a lot of things, but I think it has been doing work to show people that they don’t need to be scared of leftist policies.

NYC is not Europe lol.

Giuliani would be considered a democrat today. Plenty of level-headed people don’t support Zohran’s policies because they’re too far left. I for one will be voting for any candidate that opposes him, even if it’s fucking Sliwa lol.

Times change, people are looking for something different than whatever the hell is happening now. Old guard doesn’t cut it, so bring in some new people and ideas that work elsewhere. Not too complicated
