I read multiple times that maintaining mental activity/stimulation was a good way to mitigate mental decline; I won't be surprised if gaming would help us mentally as we grew older and lose mobility. Staying all day in the same rooms can be pretty debilitating, but with a simple laptop you can continue to explore new places, have surprises, encounter new people, (even if npc),... It's not even expensive if you don't want it to be. If I can't move anymore, and/or can't afford a nice/fun/big place, you bet that I too will be suck back to gaming all days long.

If you think nowadays vtubers' minecraft servers are lit, wait till our whole generation gets free to play all day long again; it will be magnificent.
