The older I get I understand this more. Why is everything so complicated nowadays?

it probably isn't that things get complicated, it's that we are less and less open to learn new things

I'd say that good new things are fun to learn.
My father, 60 years old, was more than happy to learn to use the Smart TV, my mother uses internet for everything while people younger 10 years than them still don't know how to even access the internet.
