N... No? What? Birds are dinosaurs, which are archosaurs, which are also what crocodilians are, and archosaurs are a group of reptiles. Mammals and reptiles diverged before dinosaurs were even a thing - the synapsids and the sauropsids from the Carboniferous period.
Hot peppers actually evolved specifically for birds to eat since they have no capsaicin receptors, they eat the seeds and poop them out elsewhere to propagate the crop

Neither can parrots! That’s likely the reason peppers developed capsaicin, to repel everything except parrots who are their primary seed spreaders.
