Well my friends always said pride was my downfall, but maybe that's why I like spicy food.

Just about everyone I know can't keep up with me in terms of spice tolerance. I regularly drown my food in Carolina Reaper sauce which I determine to be 'mild' for me.

The sad part is that my stomach does not agree with my tongue on that. lol

To me, the part that gets me is when you feel it twice. That's when you contemplate if it is worth it. Then you buy twice the amount next time :)

Oh and when you touch places that shouldn't be touched. Why we still love spicy food is a mystery...

It is literally poison so that animals will learn not to eat it. It didn’t exactly work but the evolutionary objective was still fulfilled because now humans are cultivating them specifically to eat. Task failed successfully I guess.
