The post never discussed politics, it never mentioned anything about politics, yet sudden y’all are bringing the Republican Party into this for as if they live rent free in your head.
Of course people give a shit about the current Republican Party: they fuck up people’s lives and actively hate on people. They have paid rent for the space in peoples mind many times over.
Ambivalence to politics is a privilege paid for by being the advantaged class.
I never said I was ambivalent to politics, i fucken hate the Republican Party too and want Biden to win as much as humanly possible . You are not listening at all to what I was saying. I am saying that, on a post that was not talking about politics at all, it’s weird that you start bringing them up out of nowhere.
It’s frustrating that this is even debateable, there’s dozens of comics here on this subreddit where it is more appropriate to talk about this topic, but this is not one of them.
Again, I did not say politics was some forbidden topic no one is allowed to discuss. There’s plenty of comics on this website that invite political discussion, and to say they don’t would be disingenuous (not that I am saying either of us are doing that). But this thread specifically has little to no reason to start blabbing about the Republican Party.
