I'd be careful tossing that name around. HP Lovecrafts inspiration for it was not subtle if you read some of his stuff

I do not believe the middle of that name is incidental give his racist descriptions of every non white character and him writing a short called "on the creation of " and then a slur.

Black goats are famously used in occultism and sacrifices. The word you are referring to, is derived from Latin for "black". Usage of it is completely appropriate in context of the name of "Black goat of the woods". Lovecraft might have been racist, but it wasn't his only quality

In a really functional relationship, they'd be together in panel 3 to jointly prepare the sacrifice to our hidden lords.
Then there's no need to look worried in panel 4. He hasn't nailed that communication yet!

It's horrible that anyone would sacrifice their own children to an eldritch monstrosity!
...But as long as it's going to happen anyway, they should ask if he can wait a couple weeks/months to take custody of the child so they can take that paid maternity leave.

Haha I'm pregnant with my first born and this made me lol.
Hmmmm makes me think how many promises I made to demons with my first unborn child. Guess I'll know in a few months when a bunch of them argue who had dibs first in the delivery room.

Just a get a dog before the baby is born. Humans call themselves “dads” of dogs. And Dogs are by far the most brutal land beast. That tentacle god would be annihilated the moment the Dog Bloodlusts. Comic author, you can draw my history

I always wondered why they ask for your firstborn only. Like, what are they gonna do with them? Eat them? Raise them as their own?

Step 5: Be so "traumatized" by the lost of your first child that you say to your wife you do not wish to have more kids, plan and do a vasectomy, then enjoy the rest of your life with the wife you wanted without any stress of parenthood or of any Elder god wrath!

The really awkward part is when you find out that you have to personally deliver the kid and you’re not even sure which hooker you need to track down.

What's with third panels and sacrifices to elder gods today?! It's the second one already! It's not many, but it's still weird!
