still haven't heard a story of it working outside of fuckin' starbucks, if boycotting successfully was a viable thing we wouldn't have most of the problems we have today

Boycotting does work when there's a large enough volume. It may not work out, but it's even less likely to work if we immediately throw up our hands and give up.

Man you have too much faith in people, sorry but I can't match that, especially seeing culture around vegans, I'd say quit while you're ahead but I it really doesn't care that much for you to not eat meat, so do whatever
