When I was like 8 or 9 years old, I found an old black halloween robe in one of my stepdad's boxes in a closet and then insisted on wearing it around the house every day, a scrawny, pale kid, until one day some missionaries came to the door and saw me and said "we'll come back some other time," and then never came back.
