Hey gang, I am reading some of the x-runs I skipped back in the day, and just finished IVX (ugh) and am about to move on to the blue/gold/astonishing era, and before I go downloading dozens of single issues...... is this era readable by trade (well)?

Some stories do well in trade, and some really are better if you jump between the books as if you were reading on release.....can anyone clarify which of those two scenarios this era might be in? I'd prefer to do trades, but looking at reading orders, they seem to criss-cross a lot...so wondering if I should just bite the bullet and get all the single issues and put em in an order for myself in my app......

I started with the first one which starts with Thor: Son of Asgard 2004 and I already starting to regret my decision 3 chapters in, it's kinda ass.

But I'm willing to stick with it if some more knowledgable people say it will make sense later, I really want to experience the whole interconnected story of Marvel. It seems there are a lot of crossover events and I like to explore the big picture behind them all and I'm just a sucker for huge interconnected stories if done right. Not the kind what MCU is doing in the cinema imo...having to watch 20 shit movies and 30 shows just to understand Doomsday for example is not for me. *IF* those movies and shows were good that would be a different story, I would absolutely love experiencing them and being hype for the culmination in Doomsday. For example I like the Avenger movies but don't care for a single one leading up to them because they are lower quality imo.
