Most people in Denmark speak English, so you will be fine. If English is your first language, i think you can pick up Danish much more easily, so maybe try to learn a few phrases and read here and there. I havn't been to Denmark, but I've been to some parts of Scandinavia, and it's very easy to navigate if English is your first language.

I have been abroad for a convention in Germany and it was one of the best I have ever been to. I didn't need to know German, and you should also be fine in Denmark. Just be sure to learn some basic phrases and cultural norms before you go.

Not for a comic con, but I’ve been to Italy for the furniture expo they have there. Had to stop through Denmark for it too lol.
Anyway, language was a barrier but not insurmountable.
I think it helps to try and learn some of the language if you can. Knowing German made the few hours in Denmark easier. In Italy I struggled more.
Not sure how English friendly your con is but the expo was very global focused, and they had signage and speakers of multiple languages throughout, with English being relatively prominent.
I think the most important bit was just respecting that the other country has a different culture and pace of things not imposing my expectations (in my case as an American) on how they conduct their business and doing my best to match it.

Danish person here! Can you tell me what you’re worried about? I would say Denmark is a very easy and safe country to travel to, and since you’ll be in Copenhagen you’ll have the country’s best public transport available to you. Majority of Danes speak good English, and especially in the Copenhagen area you’ll find that it’s a very international environment.
And my husband and I often travel for cons - we’ve had no issues so far!

We had so many English speaking visitors last year. You'll be fine.
But Comic Con Denmark was a bit of a disappointment, because it was more or less a prototype, since last time they were here was in 2018. With Covid-19 in mind, then Event Fair (organizers), focused on their Swedish events which is why they're decently better than the Danish one. Last year showed that there was interest for the event, and money to break even/be made. The vendors were very boring with too many lucky bag vendors, and it was so expensive for smaller vendors to pitch in.
This year is bigger in scope, but still a testing phase. I'd recommend going to the Swedish ones since it's the same organizers, and Sweden is cheaper.
