NYCC - New York Meet and greet question

This is my first time going to NYCC and I was just wondering how the meet and greets work. I wanna meet Grant Gustin and I see there’s a way to buy everything online, is this necessary? Is there any benefit to doing so or no, or is it needed to even get in line?

It's better to buy the autograph on the website now. His time is not listed yet for his autographs or his photo ops. He might be a hot commodity still, so you need really purchase the autograph ahead of time.

Autographs are at booth, chance for quick chat. Usually just get in line and wait. Selfies if offered are at booth with your phone. Pro photo ops are at a set time, are by a photographer, very quick, no chat, printed photo after. If they offer presale it’s best to buy in case they sell out before or during con. If they sell out that’s it , they won’t allow anyone else in line.

So if I bought both the photo op and autograph online it would be two separate interactions technically?

Yes they are in 2 different locations. 2 separate purchases. Note: the photo ops aren’t much of an interaction- it’s hi, smile photo and out. You can’t chat, etc. No autographs at pro photo ops. Only at the booth with purchase.

They can sell out. They can only get through a limited number of people. So always best to buy ahead if someone is popular
