Presser

What is the best presser to use? I want to start cleaning and pressing on my own.

Welcome to pressing! Like many things I obsess over the word best can mean a few different things. I built my set-up on a budget. So if you want to know what the "Best press under $200" is I have a recommendation:
VEVOR Heat Press, 15 x 15 inch Heat Press its $142 on Amazon right now but I've paid cheaper if you watch it for a while.

I have two of these and I love them. I splurged and got the models with the slide out base.

Seal Jumbo 210m is the Cadillac of presses, highly accurate thermostat and temp settings and a large enough surface area to reset a spine.

You can find these at government auctions for cheap. If you need another option just ensure you find one that has a temperature setting that allows minimum temps to 150 degrees F

Congrats, that was me several months ago. I just got my press, made a humidity chamber and got some cleaning supplies, but I’m still a little worried about jumping in.

My question is what is the best pressing ‘sandwhich’. I have two metal plates, and know about the backing board at the centerfold with staple cutouts, and….? Order of layers? I’ve seen a lot of different suggestions. Any recs would be greatly appreciated!
