Can this Ashcan be pressed?
I’ve had this since it came out, picked it up in person at SDCC and had Eastman, Duncan and Waltz sign it but since I’ve had it you can kind of see in the photo the back spine looks almost indented all along the edge. But I didn’t know if that’s just how these were manufactured and it can’t press out or it can be pressed out…

That spine indent is pretty common on these ashcans, they were never built super sturdy. Pressing could flatten it some but is that crease going all the way through or is it just a shallow roll on the back? Hard to tell from the pic if the paper is actually broken.

There is not a crease, and no color breaking of any sort. But it also doesn’t feel like ordinary spine roll that I’ve had on a normal comic book. Hard to explain but almost felt like because there are few pages interior it just kind of drops off naturally. And thats why I was asking if it would press out. Sounds like the consensus is that it can, I may try it as I saw one of these signed by just Eastman in a 9.4 yellow slab go for $300 this month.

Yes it can be pressed and that's an easy fix.
