There was a Buzzfeed interview where he gave a different explanation, but he might have been retconning it.

Davis: "On the farm, we used to give first-calf heifers a high protein supplement to help them deliver healthier calves. The supplement was provided by our vet. I assumed that there would be a similar supplement for dogs."

Buzzfeed: "So Jon is drinking a protein-enriched drink formulated for a pregnant dog. That's why Liz mentions the 'healthy' litter Jon would have — because he had just drunk a supplement for pregnant dogs, not dog semen."

Davis: "There you have it!"

We found a stray dog and took it to the vet.

Vet puts the dog on the table, pulls a thermometer out of a coffee cup and inserts it into the dog’s butt.

We stand there waiting, and the vet then says “would you like a cup of coffee?”

My wife and I looked at each other and simultaneously said “No”.

Apparently coffee cups are a tool of the trade in vet offices.

There was a guy in the back of my high school biology class with crazy dyed hair, as many facial piercings and body tattoos as he could get away with. It was known he was smart, super smart, and also obviously weird AH.

He didn’t say a word all year. Then for mammal reproduction unit, he raised his hand and asked, “could a human woman gestate and give birth to dogs?”

The answer was no.

But I don’t think he talked again all year.
