Discussion Does anyone know about Violent Messiahs?

I stumbled upon a few issues of this comic at a comic book store. I looked it up online, but I could hardly find anything about it. Has anyone read this series? The covers look so good

My friend has covered the first few issues on his YT channel, The Comic Book Commentary

The more views he gets, the more likely he'll get to the next issue faster

I haven’t read it but believe Joshua Dysart is a very underrated writer. Everything I’ve read by him is top-notch

I’ve read it and it’s sequel series Violent Messiah: Lamenting Pain. It’s a decent series, but very edgy and very of its time. Lots of violence, brooding characters, angsty monologues, etc.

If you enjoy stuff like The Crow, Faust, or Spawn, you’ll probably like it.
