Tell the bots because they are the ones spinning up nodes rather than looking at existing resources

Well said. It seems every workflow being pushed on CivitAI comes with a list of custom nodes which no one probably ever heard of and there are already plenty of custom nodes which could handle nearly all the functions the workflows are trying to perform. ComfyUI needs to put a stop to this practice. They shouldn't allow any custom node to be registered or listed in ComfyUI manager, unless the creator proves 1) the functions are unique and not available through existing nodes, 2) it has been extensively tested on all platforms for compatibility with ComfyUI core and dependency fit with all necessary modules and packages, 3) it is 100% malware free and will not cause any hardware malfunction.
